Medieval Festival
In the first week of October, the city of Gubbio hosts the “Festival of the Middle Ages”, a cultural event centered on historical divulgation and characterized by master lessons, meetings with authors and “face to face” between historians and essays. It also offers exhibitions, markets, a medieval book fair, films, historical reenactments, shows, concerts, children’s workshops, grass-roots, role-playing games and guided cultural tours.
Ten centuries of history, from 476 to 1492, collected in five days between exhibitions, cultural appointments, markets, performances and various shows.
The very varied and vast program opens Wednesday, September 27, with the inauguration of the festival.
Every day at the Palace of Consuls you can visit the Old Torture and Death Penalty Instruments and all other museums in the town.
Another great initiative is to discover and visit the town by guided walks.
In Eugubin squares there are medieval medieval costumes and historical jewels of gubbio balloons, with free crossbow, bandwidth and much more ..
